Bit of a Hiatus

I'm back to work. I haven't been to the office since Dec. 24. That was 16 days ago. I've never taken a vacation from any job for that long! And my mind is officially mush.

I also forgot to mention that eight of those days were spent in the Bahamas. That's right. 70 degrees. Sunshine. Beach.

Needless to say, I think my mind is still in the Bahamas, as my body gets used to the frigid 20 degree weather of St. Louis. I have to admit though, going somewhere warm and tropical in January was probably one of the best ideas my family has ever had. And it was the best Christmas present ever from my Dad! Don't worry I'll post pictures and tell a few stories from the trip later this week, but I just thought I'd give you all a heads up on why I haven't posted in more than a month.

I also took a bit of a hiatus from Twitter, and was forced to take one from Facebook/Internet/phone/TV for a few days in the Bahamas until the wi-fi at our house was turned on. I have to admit though, it was kind of liberating being disconnected from the world, but boy was I glad when the cable guy came by and fixed our TV and wi-fi connection though! And now I'm back, connected and trying to get my mind back to full speed.
