Taken from our rental van while we were driving around trying to find our house.
The view from the front of the house.
View from the back of the house.
Our house! And our own private beach. :)
The beautiful sunrise we woke up to every morning. Ha, who am I kidding. My aunt took this picture. I'd see the sun pouring in through the windows and roll over for a few more hours.
Aunt Mikey and Dad - how we spent every morning, hanging out on the deck.
The beach on the other side of our house. Doing another daily activity - exploring and looking for seashells and other critters.
Speaking of which, here's my cousin Rachel, the future marine biologist, with one of her many finds - a sea urchin.
And Uncle Fred, our non-certified explorer of the seas, with a starfish.
And my sister Kayla with her sand dollar.
Just to give you an idea of all the sea shells we collected.
Rachel and her coconuts.
Which she then attempted to crack by throwing them as hard as she could on the concrete, and surprisingly, it worked. That's my aunt Mikey laughing at her in the corner.
My sister and I at Treasure Cay.
Starfish and mini starfish.
The whole fam at Treasure Cay. If you can't tell, we were a little cold. The water in the Bahamas is apparently freezing this time of year, right around 60 degrees. Didn't keep us from getting in the water though!
The crab my cousin caught, pre-boiled.
Mr. Crab, post-boiled, along with lobster and shrimp - the best home-cooked meal of the trip!
On the ferry to Hope Town.
The Hope Town lighthouse off in the distance.
Rocky beach in Hope Town.
Don't you wish you were there... like, right now? Me, too.
This is a dolphin that swam right up to our house!
And our little gecko friend!
We had to get a picture of our favorite restaurant, Snappa's. We went there three times in one week, it was awesome.
Yep, definitely wish I was still there right now.Hope you enjoyed the photos!
